Cute autumnal flower nail art!

Good evening everyone, hope you're all having a lovely chilled Sunday. I am back today with a autumnal flower nail art look. I did this freehand by just using a dotting tool and my nail art pen.

I thought to change it up a bit I would do a bit of a step by step look at what I did, however as it now gets darker quicker I was actually running out of natural daylight as I like to take my pictures outside to show the truest colour of the nail colour I am using so the pictures will change with a different background and lighting as I had to improvise a bit.

Step 1: To start of with I got my nails ready by applying a base coat, today I used Nails inc Kensington caviar base coat.

Step 2: Then I painted 2 coats of the chosen colour. I chose to use Ciate nail colour 'seas the day' as it's a very pretty dark greeny bluey colour that I thought was very fitting for an autumnal colour.

Step 3: I wanted to create a flower design so for this I used my dotting tool, quite a small one as I wanted the flowers to be small and dainty and created the flowers by just dotting 5 circles next to each other in a circle-kind of overlapping to make a flower shape-left a little gap in the middle. Then once the dots were dry I went in with my gold nail art pen and just used that to dot the middle of the flower. For the white flower I used Nails inc colour ' floral street' & gold nail art pen by NPW.

Step 4: To finish of the look I then applied a topcoat using Seche Vite top coat. I did leave the flowers to dry for a bit before doing this as I find if you paint the topcoat too quickly it smudges the white and gold dots as sometimes the dots can be quite thick so take a while to dry.

I really love creating simple looks like this as once you know how to it doesn't take long to do and is pretty simple nail art that everyone can try out. I would say if you to want to attempt doing this look before going straight onto the nails and wrecking them, practice a bit first on some scrap bits of paper or something to get the hang of how to do it.

Hope you have enjoyed this style of a step by step of how I done the look, let me know in the comments if you try it out yourself too.

Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web. 😊💜
