Cute 3D pink bow charm nails from Charlie's nail art.

Hello everyone, how lovely and sunny is it today? Hope you're all making the most of it and enjoying your weekend. I have a pretty nail design today featuring some 3D nail art charms from my favourite nail art website Charlie's nail art.

I was debating what sort of nail design I could do with these cute little bow charms, and decided that doing some polka dots would go nicely with them. I thought as well to make it more of a summery vibe, I would do a mixture of 2 pink nail polishes to go with the pink bows. The pink polishes I chose were Barry M's under the sea polish ' Pinktail ' & Ciate's polish ' Kiss Chase '. I also used my dotting tools for the polka dots & a white polish that I got ages ago from Oriflame.

The bows come in a pack of two, which is perfect if you want to do an accent nail on each hand, but even if you want to do something like I have done, and have the 2 nails done on each hand, the bows only cost £0.25p per pack which is a bargain. And you can just re-use these again for different nail designs which is always handy. They come in other colours too like-blue, purple, black etc. Incase you wanted to know measurements, the bows are approx 10mm by 8mm with a flat back. I find that because it has a flat back, this is why they stick so well to the nails.

These were simple easy to do and a quick nail design perfect for the summer time.

  • Just paint on 2 coats of your chosen nail colour/s. Let completely dry.
  • Using your dotting tool, start dotting away until your happy with it-do them as big or small as you like. ( Make sure to wipe the dotting tool in between each nail,to prevent the polish going to thick and gloopey or otherwise the dots will start to go all messy & stringey ).
  • Wait a little bit for the dots to completely dry to prevent any smudging from the top coat. Pop on top coat when ready too.
  • Then apply the bows to your chosen nails. I applied the bows whilst the top coat was still tacky and by applying a tiny blob of top coat on the bow it's self to help it stick. Ta da now you have lovely, pretty nails, yay. 😊

I honestly love how this nail design turned out, I think it is so cute with the bows and polka dots. The 3D bows are so pretty and stick very well to the nail. They stayed very well just using a top coat to stick them with, but I would recommend a little bit of nail glue to make them last longer on the nails. But overall I think they stick on the nail very well and are very sturdy in place. Perfect for some summer party's or bbq's. :)

  1. Ahhhh those bows are so cute! :) I used to be a big fan of nail art a couple years ago, but I was never really that good at painting my nails (haha never had the patience to let them dry completely). So impressed with your nail skill! :)
