My thoughts on the Pixi Rose Tonic!

Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying your week so far. Today I have a little review of a new product I picked up a few months back and have been trying out.

The product I have been testing out is the Pixi Rose Tonic. After buying it back in April I think, I was testing it out daily to see how my skin got on with it. However, I did stop using it after a few weeks of trailing it, as sadly my skin just wasn't getting along with it. Now this is probably because I have very sensitive skin, that reacts quite often to products, depending what they have in them, which means for me I have to be very careful what products I use.

What Pixi say about it-
Rose & Elderflower nourishing toner. Naturally soothing and rich in nutrients, this tonic helps to tone, balanc PH, minimize redness and calm skin. Rehydrates, replenishes and refreshes. Suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. Alcohol free. Use AM & PM after cleansing. Paraben free.

My thoughts on it-
So, I brought this Rose one from Pixi instead of the glow tonic, as I thought the glow tonic might of been a bit harsh on my skin and heard that the Rose one was better for dry/ sensitive skin. So, I was pretty sad when my skin didn't really get on with this one. However I do have mixed thoughts on this product.

What I wasn't to keen on- Sadly for me, I didn't really feel like this did much for my skin as I felt like it caused more dryness on my skin, and these little red dryness bumps to form. :( I think because my skin is super sensitive it just didn't react well with the product and caused more redness when the product was applied.

What I liked about it-  Smells lovely, skin did feel soft from using it and it didn't sting the skin hence why I thought it would be o'k. It felt very refreshing and like my skin was thoroughly cleansed.

My overall thoughts on this is that, if you have normal/dehydrated skin I think it will be o'k for you, but if you have dry and overly sensitive skin then maybe not, but then every one's skin is different so could be worth a try. It's odd with skincare products though, as what works for someone's skin, might not work for other's and vice versa. This is just my opinion with how my skin reacted to it, so it's not a negative to Pixi, as I love this brand and get on well with some other products of their's that I love, it's just ashame that my skin has to be so sensitive as otherwise I think I would of loved this product, but I guess that's just the way it is sometimes aye, haha! :) I may try this product again though, as sometimes my skin doesn't always like something when first tried but then can use it again, and my skin will be fine with, but will you keep you all updated if I do.

The Pixi Rose Tonic normally retails for £10.00 from what I can see for 100ml, but you can get it on Amazon currently for £8.90.

Have you tried the Pixi Rose tonic before, what were your thoughts on it? I would love to hear, and if you have any other recommendations for a toner for sensitive skin then let me know too.

Hope you all enjoyed reading my review, I always want to be honest on my blog about how I got on with products, as I think it's great to see what every one prefers/ get's on with depending on skin type etc. This isn't a negative to Pixi, just my own results of using it.

Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web. 😊💜
