A little look at what I got for my birthday!

Hello everyone, I am finally back after what feels like ages since I have done a blog post. Things just got a little bit busy as I was re-decorating my room the other week and then it was my birthday, but I thought I would get back into the swing of things, by showing you all some of the lovely things that I received from my lovely family and friends for my birthday and do a little birthday haul kind of thing.

As you can see from the above picture, I got some lovely things, and I was very lucky as my sister and friend went to America just before my birthday, and decided to make up a box full of goodies which I loved. But as there are so many nice things and my blog is mainly focused on more beauty / nails, I thought I would just show the bits that are more beauty related products. That's not to say I didn't love everything else, as I appreciate it all, it's just otherwise this blog post would be super long, haha!

First up a lovely hair set from Toni & Guy-perfect for volumising the hair which is definitely what my hair needs, can't wait to try them out :) also a few lovely jewellery pieces that I had to include as I love them and are so pretty. The little June birthstone necklace I adore so much and is such a lovely necklace to receive on your birthday.

Next up are some lovely bits from Bath & Body works, which are my first ever things from there and I have to say I love all of these. I think this cool coconut surf fragrance mist, is probably my new favourite perfume and I have been wearing it pretty much everyday since I got it, it really reminds me of a Benefit perfume I used to love but they discontinue it, so I am so happy for this. As for the hand creams, they both smell divine and leave the hands super soft and moisturised.

I also got these pretty cool birthday cake bubble bath candies, which I am very excited to try out as they are just something different. They do however smell a bit weird and like that playdoh stuff, so quite intrigued to see what they will smell like in the bath. I also did think these were actual sweets at first, haha! Also how lovely is the quote plaque that I got, such a beautiful saying.

I also received this little Glamglow duo pack, which includes the supermud mask & the glowstarter moisturiser. This mini kit is so lovely, I have tried the mask before but not the moisturiser-which I am looking forward to trying out. Funny thing though-the other night I went to use the mask and squeezed it, to which it exploded on me-and I mean exploded everywhere in the bathroom, on the ceiling, tiles, toilet and all over me, haha! It was funny but I am a bit upset that I now have barely any product left. The other product you can see in the little pot is a face moisturiser by the brand Drunk Elephant. I have never heard of this brand before, but the cream looks and smells lovely, so excited to try it out and see how I get on with it.

Of course there had to be a few Nails inc products in there too aye. This Sparkle like a unicorn set I absolutely love and have been wanting it for a while, but never got round to picking it up. I am so excited to use that sheet mask and the colours looks so pretty too. Not sure how that lipstick is going to look on but hey I guess it's a bit of fun and perfect for festivals. I also have this pretty pink colour by Nails inc from the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi collection. Cannot wait to try all the polishes out, there will be swatches of them coming on my Instagram, so make sure your following me over there to see what they are like on.

Hope you all enjoyed seeing some of the lovely gifts I received from my amazing friends and family. There were a few other things too like plenty of alcohol, chocolate, sweets some pretty new shoes but didn't want to bore you all with it all. A massive thank you to them all, it was a really lovely birthday and I appreciate everything.

Let me know in the comments what was your favourite thing and if you have ever tried any of the products in the comments below. And I am pretty sure there will be a few reviews on some of the products, so stay tuned 😊
