A few of my favourites from April!

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a lovely week so far. How crazy that we are already into May now, the months are going by so quick. I am still feeling very ill, seems my body can't kick this cold/flu as it keeps coming back, and this is the worst I have felt in a long time. I have had this for around 4 weeks now, so I am hoping it will go asap. But I am trying to get back into blogging more regularly again, so today wanted to do a round up of a few things I have been loving in the month of April.

Most things are the same as last month, as if I find something I love, I tend to use it for a while until I find other things I love, haha! Most of these things you have probably seen on my blog before, as some are recent new products I have picked up and fell in love with and some other things I may have spoken about before, but I always think it is nice to see what other people have been loving in a round up post of their favourites like this. Let's get straight to it...

Nail polishes:

To start of with, of course some nail polish, as by now you probably know, I always paint my nails pretty much and love discovering new colours. My faves this month have been the 2 new Barry M polishes from the under the sea collection- 'pink tail' and 'butterflyfish'. I knew they would be straight away, as they are both so pretty. I will say that they do come out very thin in consistency, so you will need 2-3 coats depending on how much coverage you like but they look so pretty on, that I don't mind. You can see them on in this previous post here.

I also wanted to include the OPI base coat, as I have been using this pretty much every time I paint my nails, as it dries really quick and seems to be preventing my nails from staining a yellow colour, which I can get quite a lot from painting my nails so much. It is just overall one of the best base coats I have tried out lately.

DKNY Be Tempted Perfume:

I wanted to include this perfume as I have had it for a little while now, but last month I have been wearing it quite a bit. As it is so handy to carry around in your bag and use for touch ups when out. I love little roll on fragrances like this. I have tried a few Dkny perfumes and this has got to be one of my favourites, it smells so lovely and light. I feel like this perfume is perfect for the Spring/ Summer time and it lasts really well on me.

Makeup bits-

As usual there are a few makeup products that I wanted to include as there are a couple of new things I have been loving. First up the Spectrum highlighting brush A10 that I picked up recently, I was in need of a highlighting brush and oh my this is so lovely, it's so super soft and applies the highlighter so lovely. It also very pretty to look at too, so that helps, I highly recommend this brush if your looking for a new highlighting brush.

The other new makeup product that I wanted to talk about as I only just got it this month, is the Covergirl full lash bloom mascara. My friend actually gave this to me, bless her and I have to say I kind of see the hype over these mascaras, as I was pretty surprised at how nice this made my lashes look. I have always wanted to try one of the covergirl mascaras and love volume ones, and this does give the lashes good volume and lasts well all day on my lashes. Very happy with this.

The last makeup product that I wanted to include in this, is actually a product I have been using for a while now. The Guerlain multi-perfecting concealer, i have this in 02 Clair Rose-light cool. I highly recommend this if you get dry skin under the eyes, as it is very hydrating and doesn't sink in to any dry patches. The coverage is quite light but buildable and lasts pretty much all day on me. It is more on the pricey side but definitely worth it, as I have had mine for ages now and use it everytime I do my makeup.

Hope you all enjoyed having a look at some of my favourite things I have been loving in April and hope you all have a lovely May. Let me know in the comments if you have tried any of the products I have mentioned and what you though of them too?
