Flower & hearts nail art dedicated to my mum & gran-Happy Mothers day!

Hello everyone, Happy Mothering Sunday! Today is a bit of a tough one for me and the family, especially my mum as it is the 3 year anniversary of when my gran passed, typical for it to land on mothers day this year. This will probably be a bit of a shorter blog post as I won't go to into it all, as I find it very difficult talking about losing my gran and plus my gran was always so happy and bubbly, always wanting to make the most out of life and enjoy it to the fullest, I want this to not be a sad post but more of a positive upbeat happy post in honor of my gran and to celebrate her life.

So, I thought I would do a pretty nail design, dedicated to my beautiful gran and mum to really show how much I love them and appreciate/d them. I was so close to my gran, -she went through so much in her lifetime but I always admired how she just got on and had such a lovely happy soul, so positive and well when she got onto her red wine, there was no stopping her-always brought a smile to our faces and made us laugh so much.

I chose to do flowers and hearts design to show love and as flowers are quite a big representation of mothers day. All I did for this nail design was, dotted on the flowers in purple and then a metallic colour in the middle. For the two purple nails I drew a little red heart and then stamped on some white hearts too. I just wanted to do something pretty simple and pretty.

Here's to you my beautiful Gran, I just hope you know how much you are missed and how it just always feels like a bit of our hearts will always be missing, since you have been gone. Just want you to know how much you are still loved, you will never be forgotten, this is not a goodbye, but a i will see you again soon. Love you so much Gran! 💖

And to my beautiful mum. there is so much I could say but then this blog post would never end. I really truly admire you more than you will ever know, I know today is going to be tough for you , I just hope we can try and make it special in some sort of way as you deserve it so much. You have been so brave, strong and courageous through it all, you have been so inspiring at how you just carry on each day even though it has been so tough-you not only had your own grieve to deal with but all of ours too, I honestly don't know how you kept going and kept us going but I guess that's because your a truly. amazing mum. I feel very blessed to get to call you mum and feel very lucky to have you in my life for all you do for us all, I love so much. 💖

To you all, look after you mum, she is so special, show her how much she is loved and treat her with respect. You only get one mum so make sure you tell her you love her each day and how much she means too.
