A few of my favourites from March!

Hello everyone, hope you all are well and enjoying this lovely beautiful day! I wanted to get this up yesterday but I really haven't been feeling to well lately. I had a bit of a cold last week and thought I managed to prevent it coming on any worse, as it felt like it had gone away, but then came back in full swing this week and then yesterday was really bad, today I am getting there but have that dreaded cough right now. But anyways, hopefully it will be gone as soon as can be.

I wanted to do a bit of a favourites post and show you some things I have been loving in March, I know this might be a little late now as were already in April and I did want to get this up for end of March, but had other posts I wanted to do as you know with it being Easter and all that. But thought ah well I am still going to do it as why not aye. Most of the things I have been using and loving are pretty much the same as last month as I tend to stick to the same things for ages when i find something I really love, but there are s few different things I have been loving too last month that I wanted to talk about. 😊

Marc Jacobs Dot perfume-

Marc Jacobs perfume has got to be one of my all time favourite perfume brand, I'm pretty sure I have tried the majority of them and most of my perfume collection is made up of them all. But even though I am pretty sure this Dot perfume was one of the first ones they brought out years ago, I never got round to getting it, as back then I think I just preferred the more sweeter ones, which I do still a bit today but think as I have grown up my favourite kind of scents have changed a bit and when I smelt this a few months back again, I knew I wanted to get it at some point. Then when I went to Bicester Village a few months back, they had this on offer in one of those perfume shops, I can't remember the exact price right now but it was a bargain, and I was told that it was on offer as apparentley they are stopping doing this one. Sad times if they are, as I love this perfume now.

The bottle is so pretty, and this is the 50ml bottle-which is why I got it for the price and the amount you get, was so good. This has now become my everyday perfume pretty much as I feel like it is just so light and lovely to wear for the day. This is described as a oriental and woody scent, with the base of vanilla, driftwood and sensual musks with a mix of red berries, honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom.

Nail polishes-

If you read my favourite Spring polishes post then you have probably already seen these 2 colours mentioned already as I included them in there, so I won't go on to long about these. I just wanted to include these in my favourites, as now were getting into Spring time, these are the kind of colours I tend to lean towards. I love light, pastel colours for Spring and these 2 in particular have been the 2 polishes I have been using the most currently. I love them both loads and both last really well on the nails, especially when paired with a long lasting top coat. Lilacs and pastel pinks are some of my favourite colours of all time and are just perfect for this time of the year.

The pretty lilac is by Butter London called 'Molly Coddled',  I have had this one for quite a while now, as I love it so much I am near enough running out of it. The pretty pastel pink is by Jessica called 'Ocean Bloom' and this is so lovely, I don't really have any other pink shades like this and is pretty unique.

Skincare bits-

Two skincare related things I have been loving lately is the Burt's Bee's lip balms and this hydrating serum from a brand called Nourish. I have been getting more into the Burt's Bee's lip balms more and more, and they are becoming some of my favourite lip balms. There are so many too choose from but one of my favourites that I have been using in March is the Vanilla bean one, this one smells so lovely and really hydrates the lips. I usually try to get them when on offer or in a pack of 2 etc.

The other skincare item I wanted to talk about was the hydrating serum from Nourish as this has now fast become one of my favourite serums for my dry, sensitive skin. I tried a few products from this range as I brought a little kit to trial out. At first I wasn't that keen on this serum, but thought I would give it another try as my skin was feeling so dry, and my skin has been loving it and pretty much all my dry patches have gone away since using it. It leaves the skin so smooth and my sensitive skin hasn't reacted to it. I am thinking of doing my skincare routine in a post soon, so keep a eye out as I will have more details there.

A few makeup bits-

A few of my fave makeup bits I have been loving are- the Ciate liquid velvet gloss 'gossip'- a pretty pinky nude colour, one of my fave lip colours and products. You can see this more in review with a swatch in my blog post here.  The other lip colour is by Rimmel London Kate collection-no 54, a nude lipstick. I'm not always really into lipsticks, I normal prefer a gloss but these lipsticks are so buttery and smooth on the lips, and this is usually the nude colour I end up picking out, as it looks so lovely on. It also smells so good, of like some sort of sweet, hehe!

Last up is one of my all time favourite blushers. The iconic Nars blusher 'Orgasm'. I have had this for a little while now, and it's always the blusher I go back too. It is honestly so beautiful on the cheeks, and I love the hint of rose gold sparkle in it, as it just makes you look so glowy. You only need a tiny amount, and it literally leaves the skin looking smooth and soft to touch. Love it.

A little look at the Rimmel lipstick!

Hope you all enjoyed seeing some of my favourites from the past month. Let me know in the comments which of these are your favourites and if you have used any of them? Or if maybe from reading this post it has made you want to go and buy something? haha! 😜
