Christmas Candy Canes & Christmas Trees stamp nail art!

Good evening everyone, happy December 😊, seems we are at that time of year again and what better way to start it off then by doing some Christmas nail art. This is the first Christmas nail look to go up on my blog and for today's look I done my sister's nails using this beautiful nail colour I got as a early Christmas gift from a friend, we went for candy canes and Christmas trees today.

Let's first talk about how pretty this nail colour is, defintley a Christmas colour. I love nail polish colours like this as I love how it can look different in different lights due to the metallic, chrome sparkly finish. The colour is by Ciate, called 'Oil Slick'- a very pretty multi chrome gold green colour.

We used the Moyoulondon nail stamping plate number 45, from the festive collection which I picked up and showed in my last Moyoulondon Christmas nail haul. Along with the white stamping nail polish and stamper from Moyoulondon. I have been so excited to start creating some nail designs with these new Christmas nail stamping plates.

I started of by applying the Nails inc Kensignton base coat, then applied 2 coats of the very pretty Ciate nail polish, and finished of with the Seche vite top coat. Top tip, I usually always use the Seche vite top coat when doing nail stamping as it dries so quickly, so don't have to wait around too long before applying the nail stamps. Once the top coat is dry I applied the candy cane stamp on all fingers apart from the ring finger and then stamped the tree stamp on the ring finger to finish. I did find that the candy canes were a lot harder to do then the Christmas tree stamp as it just didn't show up as well but it came out nice in the end and I feel the look came out very christmassey.

It was quite hard to get some good photos of the nail stamps as the colour is so metallic but hopefully you can see the nail stamp design quite well. As you can tell by the pictures it the nail colour looks different in the different lighting due to the chrome, metallic effect, love it. What do you think of the nail colour and nail stamps? Keep a eye out as there is lots of Christmas nail looks to come. 😊

Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web. 😊💜
