Rudolph and friends nail art!

Hello everyone, I am back today with another Christmas nail art look using yesterdays very pretty silver holographic polish that I got on the Ciate advent calendar. I thought this colour would make for a nice Christmas nail look and got inspired to do a reindeer themed looked as I thought the reindeer's would look like they are in a frosty icy magical background.

I really wanted to do a freehand Rudolph the red nose reindeer so decided to do Rudolph on the ring finger, on the middle finger & thumb I did a reindeer stamp in white using the Moyoulondon festive plate no.30 and then on the little and index fingers I placed these very cute reindeer nail art stickers from Charlies nail art. The colour used is Ciate's 'House Of Mirrors'-a very pretty silver multicoloured holographic colour.

I first started the look off by starting with Rudolph so I could give the nude colour time to dry whilst doing the next bit of the look. This is pretty simple to do as all I did was drew the outline of Rudolph with the nail polish brush just doing a kind of round shape half way down my nail then drew on his antlers and ears with a small thin nail art brush. I used Ciate's nude polish 'Maybe Baby'.

I then moved on whilst that was drying to doing the nail art stickers by placing them on when the polish was tacky and added the little bunting underneath the reindeer's and then applying a topcoat to secure them into place. I love these nail art stickers as I think they are so pretty and delicate.

Next I applied the nail art stamps which were a little difficult as the whole print didn't really go on to the nail properly but I got there in the end with it. I then went back in and finished off Rudolph, using a medium sized dotting tool I dotted the white bit of the eye on, left that to dry and went in with a red glittery polish, drawing a circle with the nail polish brush to create Rudolph's famous red nose. I then finished off by using a tiny dotting tool to dot the black bit of his eye on.

I really love how this look came together, as I think the colour and the reindeer's fit perfectly together, what do you think? Christmas is getting closer and closer, hope your all feeling very festive now.
