Little Mini Nail Haul!

Hello everyone, hope you are all well! I am back after my long weekend away, sorry I didn't manage to get this up yesterday but I was exhausted and not feeling to great but back to it now. It was nice to get away and take some time off but I am glad to be back to writing my blog posts and doing my nails again, haha!

As you can tell by the title, I did pick up a few polishes whilst away and wanted to show you today what I picked up at bargain prices. I actually didn't go too crazy and only picked up 2 nail polish colours and a base & top coat. I went into one of those beauty outlets at Cheshire Oaks and sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming, as there were so many nail polishes to choose from I was spoilt for choice, you sometimes can't decide, anyone else get what I mean? haha! Also your all be pleased to know, that shock it isn't Nails inc or Ciate for once that I picked up but OPI, hehe!

The first two things I picked up, that just caught my eye instantly were these 2 lovely nail colours from OPI. I have tried OPI polishes before and do really love them, so thought I would pick up a couple of their colours to add to my collection. The 2 colours I picked up surprisingly were a baby blue and a dark blue/green teal. I don't normally go for these kind of colours but have gotten more into these shades and like trying out a mixture of colours lately.

OPI ' I Believe In Manicures'
The first one is this beautiful baby blue colour called 'I believe in Manicures'. I have been on the look out for the perfect baby blue colour for a while now and think I may have found it. This was probably the first colour that drew me in as soon as I walked into the shop and thought this would be perfect for spring / summer time. In the picture on my nails it looks a lot more vibrant, where as in real life it's a bit more light-like a perfect blue sky. I did have to paint on 3 coats with this polish but once on looks so lovely and even on the nails.

OPI 'Suzi Says Feng Shui'

The next polish that drew me in as it is quite an unsual colour that I haven't really seen before is this dark blue/green teal called 'Suzi says feng shui'. OPI really do always have the best polish names aye, hehe! I really, really like this colour, it painted on so beautifully and I really love how it looks. With this polish I have used the base and top coat too to see how they all look together. I must say as well that I actually got both these nail colours for just £4.99 each from the beauty outlet, what a bargain!

The last thing I picked up was the duo base and top coat, and guess what? I only paid £10.00 for these 2, what a bargain price-I couldn't miss the opportunity to pick these up as a top and base coat are very handy to have. I have used these before and they are both really lovely, both are pretty thick when applied, so not a lot is needed. The base coat dries rather quickly and feels quite cold when applied but leave a smooth surface ready for the colour, the top coat is quite thick and as it is a big brush you need to be careful to not put too much on the brush. I have found that this top coat takes a little longer to dry then my usual ones I use, but leaves the polish very shiny and glossy.

Although I didn't get this polish at the same time as the ones above, I did want to include this Nails inc dirty unicorns polish too as it is a recent purchase. This one is called 'Shake that tail'. It is one of the newer unicorn polishes they brought out. This one is a beautiful iridescent, dark purple, shimmer colour and I am in love with it. In the picture below I created the shattered glass effect nails over this colour on 2 of my nails.

Hope you all enjoyed seeing the few nail bits I have picked up recently. I haven't really brought any in changes as I have so many, that I really need to have a major sort out still.
Let me know in the comments, which was your favourite from this haul?
